Crystal like particles on leaves

Dear Pepper Fanatics :)
 
I've been a long time ghost user of this forum. Now it's time to ask my first question!
 
I'm growing indoor a regular nothing fancy red habanero plant.
 
This plant was a bit over watered / fertilized earlier this month. Too much care is not good for the pepper I guess :)
 
 
The deposit looks like salt crystal... whitish color... looks like edema (from the picture I've seen on the forum but mine is different)
 
Could it be salt from the fertilizer going out from the leaves?

I already stopped watering a while ago.

Just wanted to be sure it was edema not a plant disease :)

I have 6 fans total...including an exhaust fan which is variable speed to maintain 78F (26C) during day cycle and 64F (18C) for the night cycle.
 
Everything is automated even watering which I disabled for now until I find a correct soil moisture sensor to detect when to water.

The choice of pots somewhat precludes this possibility, but if you want to get away from issues with over/under watering indoors, it's pretty hard to beat a wicking system.  Indoors, a bottom watered container, along the lines of a Hempy bucket would solve that issue.  Or a "Bato" style bucket, with a modified substrate.

It's so easy to automate a watering system that is similar in function to an ebb and flow, but just leaves enough nutrient - by way of an adjustable drain - to be taken up by the plants every couple of days.

Thanks for your ideas however I choose the Air pots because I want to have a garden that I can move easily in and out when winter is coming. 
 
 
 
Another related question:
 
Is the plants shower I do everyday could make the edema worse?
 
I try my best to not get the soil wet and then start the high speed fan to make the leaves dry quickly.
 
I have to, otherwise the damn aphids come back all the time (after few days without "showers") 
 
This is the best remedy I found that doesn't damage the leaves/plants (tried three other way including pesticide)

I'm not trying to convince you, but a Hempy moves just as easily as a pot.

I grew plants with that system this year that I couldn't grow properly before.
