Mexican pepper?

The story. A friend brought a few dried peppers back from his trip to Mexico.
Easy to germinate, easy to grow in our hot dry climate , about 4 feet high and still going.
It looks like a typical drying pepper, with little to no heat , thin walls and hard fibrous placenta.
Your thoughts please.

Thank you, yes in between the two of you.
Smaller than Big Jim and Anaheim , but about 3X cayenne thickness.
The big red one is about 1 inch wide at the top by about 4-5 inches long.

Sounds like it would be a nice pepper to give a little smoke to then dry.......grind for some nice powder.

I can't tell how wide the red one is looks like if you turn it 45 degrees it is wider and flatter like some chile types.
