Hi all

Hi, I wanted to introduce myself as i am new to the forum and new to growing chillis from seed this year. My name is Tom and I'm from the midland (UK). I have been growing tomato's and other veg for the last 15 years or so. I started growing traditional bought from the supermarket chilli plants last year but I have loved eating and cooking with hot chillis for years. This year I wanted to grow some more interesting varieties so I am growing them from seed. I have bought seeds of the following,

King Naga
Datil
Smokin Eds Carolina Reaper
BBG peach ghost jami
Pink tiger
Orange tiger
7 pot katie
Aji lemon drop

I used the hot chilli online germination powder and followed their method of putting the seeds in folded damp kitchen towel then in a sealed freezer bag in the airing cupboard. I checked yesterday and amazingly about 80 percent seem to have sprouted roots. Today il be transplanting then into a potting on compost, vermiculite and potting grit mix. Then into the propogator for awhile. I have never grown varieties like this so if you have any tips or suggestions I would really appreciate it!

Thanks again
Tom

Tip 2: Don't over water it!
