Little update, been a while again.  Got a couple ripe pods not many yet, but this one is the first interesting one for me.  Supposed to be a 7 Pot Jonah Orange.  Got the seeds from a friend who picked the pods at Weavers farm last year.  This plant has some great looking gnarly pods on it, this first one is a bit skinny but many of the others are fatter and bigger.  Color is looking like what I would want, will give it a try in a few days.  Have 3 others plants from these seeds, another one is producing long gnarly skinnier pods and a third one is a bit smother more habanero shapes so going to be interesting to see what all comes out of them.

This is a very promising looking pheno of a chocolate scotch bonnet.  Not a lot of pods yet but about half of them on the plant have this shape. Now just need to see if they go chocolate.  Seeds came from Sandra.

Back in 2014 when I started growing peppers again after a bit of layoff, one of the first pods I picked was Yellow Moruga.  Became one of my favorites.  Last 2 years I have had some, but plants were just kinda duds, smaller pods and fewer than 2014.  Well this year they look to be back, big pods and pretty loaded, I wish I had more plants going.
20170713_195601_zpsk2hsmhe8.jpg

This one might be hot, maybe not though.
20170713_194743_zpstmifuclp.jpg

My long reaper cross is putting out the most gnarly pods it has had yet.  First 2 years of it were more just long with some tails but not like these.  Plant is loaded and half the pods have big stingers.
20170713_195152_zpsw6rxguq4.jpg

Scotch Brains are looking wicked again.  Few odd ball shapes on one of the plants this year but most pods are looking perfect.
20170713_194551_zpseilzqfww.jpg

This Scotch Bonnet the one I called the WHP strain that showed up for me a few years ago from Red MOA seeds is killing it again.  The pods have great shapes again, and consistent throughout the plant.  Not that prefect MOA shape, but they have a great shape, and the plants are bigger and far more productive than MOA.  Going to focus on these for yellow bonnets I think from now on.  My MOAs this year are kinda runty plants and the pod shapes once again are all over the place with more long phenos than bonnet like phenos.

Devan, if you see this one it might interest you.  This is from Scotch Brain Long seeds.  Looking BBGish.  I have 2 plants, the other doesn't have pods yet I don't thing but the plants are quite different, one had huge leaves and was growing like a tree, the other put on smaller leaves and more like a bush.  I can't remember which one this pod is on, but definitely looking like its got a calyx coming in.
20170713_194512_zpsxdkuwoxz.jpg

I have quite a few nice annuums this year, but this one might be the best looking so far.  Its called Vampire from a friend in Indonesia.  Its a darker plant and putting on some 3 to 4 inch pretty good sized pods all reaching for the sky.  Don't know if they will be any good eatin, but they are nice to look at.

These Madame Jeanettes are looking really nice so far.

Thanks for looking, I'll try to get some more updates particularly as I start to get some ripe pods.
Hello my friend every looks great. I have a few SBL plants and one of them def looks like is was cross pollinated with a BBG. My SBL plant last year that I sent pods and seeds out from was surrounded by yellow, creamy mustard and white BBG plants. One of the White BBG's was actually growing into and under my SBL plant.  Keep me updated if it turns out to be a bleeder, cheers.

Great update, Justin! I love the first pod! Great color and texture. Yellow Moruga looks sinister and the chocolate Scotch Bonnet looks spot on! How are the Cluster BBG producing this year? Will you have more seeds of it at the end of the season? I see you're sold out right now. Can't wait to see more! Great job!
Thanks Adam.   The Yellow Morugas are looking awesome.  Disappointed though, just like last time I had big pods like this it set about 15 pods and now no new buds forming.  I suspect once these ripen if like before they will set again.  I hope so, pure yellow moruga powder is my favorite plain powder, so good on everything and I'm out.   The cluster bbg was a dud for me this year.  One plant seemed to get sick, I had some issues this year with some seed starting mix that I think was no good.  I had a lot of plants look very sickly that were started in it, thankfully didn't use it for many.  The other one I topped as it was trying to set out a ton of buds, I should have just left it, they probably would have dropped, but it didn't recover from that, so I don't have any this year.  If you want some seeds, set me your address in a message, I will send you some, still have a few left.

Unbelievable picture update Justin great to see a tiny bit of your grow ... how's the Marabella's and Schnieder Farm hope they are working well for you
Thanks John.  I am sure yours is great as always, I need to check up with yours, I just haven't had time to keep up this year.  The Marabella's are only doing OK.  The red is growing better than the yellow and does have some nice size pods.  The yellow was a runt from its very start, really wasn't sure if it was going to grow but it does.  They aren't in the best spot, they are at the east end of a row and get the most afternoon sun.  Its been so damn hot here this year compared to last few seasons and up until last few weeks went about 45 days without rain.  The farther east my plants are the worse they do.  The ones on the west side of the garden get more shade in the late afternoon from a 6 foot fence they are closer too, they grow much bigger.  I think I will get some pods from them though, the red for sure.  The scheider farms is doing much better, it is small but has about 20 - 25 nice big pretty gnarly pods on them, they feel really thick and solid too.  Love the looks of it.    I think this is the Scheider Farms SB.

Plants and pics looks terrific and the WHP version of MOA looks really cool. I'm also curious to see if your chocolate scotch bonnets turn brown. I've never grown the variety since they just end up looking like chocolate habs or Jamaican hot chocolate. Would be great if it goes brown and keeps the bonnet shape.

Yeah the WHP bonnet is killing it this year.  Think I need to take the MOA out of that name, probably really not fitting.  Here is a pic of the choco scotch bonnet.  Not all pods this perfect but a fair amount of them.  Got the seeds from my friend Sandra user fiogga on here, but I don't know if she is on THP much anymore.  Anyway, I saw pics of these last year I had to have them.  They were by far the best looking chocolate bonnets i have ever seen.

Great looking pods. Your going to get a good pull.
Thanks Chuck, hope you get some, but if still not setting, let me know, I'll hook you up probably on a month or 2.  I have deviated from my grow techniques in years past and done some feeding since I had to do some extra watering with no rain.  While some plants still looking like shit, damn some are amost scary the amount of blossoms and tiny pods I am seeing come on.  Some of the plants are going to need some special supports to keep them upright most likely.  I worry I am going to overdue it, been using some Extreme Blend that Garth (TexasHotPeppers) sent to me last year and adding some bloom ferts and seeing things go nuts.  Wanting to do more of it, but also need to not overdue it.

Brown Reaper - best pheno I have grown yet of something not the standard red.

Great looking pods, Justin. Glad to hear things are flowering up. I'm terrified to use to much nutes. I mess up once in my season and it's over. No time for recovery. I still have no flowers on 90% of my plants. Really tempted to add some bloom nutes. Trying to be patient.

A brown Reaper? As if the regular one wasn't hot enough. LOL! Cool looking pod. A bit to hot for my gut.LOL Some great crosses you've got there. They look nice and hot. KAOS looks cool. Have you tried that one yet? The bonnet's are looking really good as well.

Congrats on the pods. Hope you end up supporting them plants with cables. LOL!

Look forward to seeing your updates, your pods always look great! That Brain Strain Scorpion on the left looks disturbing and contorted lol

Can't wait to receive the seeds you sent me hope the rest of your season goes well mate.

The more I look at that BS Scorp the more it freaks me out..
Hey, I didn't even realize that was you went you sent email.  I can't keep names / people straight anymore.  Anyway, they are on the way, should be there in 2 to 6 weeks.  Last ones I sent to OZ took a side stop in Taipei and took a while.  I meant to reply to your glog once, I know I looked at it once and just having such a hard time keeping up, so mainly at least trying to respond to comments on my own when I can.

90% no blooms?   That doesn't make sense.  So weird.  If I did nothing I am sure here at least I would still have mostly with blooms.  I do have a handful of plants that are being stubborn and refusing, but the weather last week has been perfect and next 10 days looks to continue.  Highs in low 80s lows around 60.  Just perfect for blooming and setting.  I don't like to give advice on using nutes as I am no expert by any means.  I don't study up like most, don't know symptoms of nute deficiencies etc. no expert at all but I don't think you could hurt them much this far into their lives with some nutes.  In the past I haven't fed them much at all after planting.  This year I have been doing some feeding, almost weekly to 10 days.  I have used all kinds of stuff, but mostly have been using some bloom nutes and the base has been extreme blend from kelf4less.com.  My friend Garth (texashotpeppers) sent me some of this stuff.  They do seem to like it, not sure if it helps or not, but its not killing them.  I also have been adding qiute a bit of calmag.  Its been so dry here and I don't get to water consistently so getting a good amount of blossom end rot, mostly on the longer varieties.  I am seeint some freakish blossoms on some varieties.  I just tried some stuff I got on Amazon called flower fuel.  Its hard to ever tell if these things work or not or its just the weather, but I had this one plant that hadn't set a blossom all year.  2 days ago I used that flower fuel and tonight noticed a lot of blossoms trying to start all the sudden.  I don't want to say it was the nutes, it might have just finally reached the size it wanted and like the weather.  Who knows.
I hate to even show this pic given your flowering issues, but this thing is a freak of nature.  Not all nodes are going nuts like this, but this plant has 100s of pods now and several hundred more blossoms.  Almost all the buds in this pic are now set, not very many of them dropped.

Thanks.  I don't know if I told you, but seeds are on the way to you.  KAOS is from a friend in Guam.  Something that appeared in her garden that she has been growing for a few years now.  I haven't tried it yet, but bound to be warm.

All of the chocolates have me salivating lava. Especially the Jami. I'm so glad they turned out as crinkled as they were supposed to be. Nice pheno on the WHP Bonnet. Man, they just all look good. You never disappoint!
Yeah, the choco ghost jami is probabably one of the gnarlier chocolate pods I have this year.  I got quite a few chocolates going on, a few I am really looking forward to, hoping for chocolate.  The WHP bonnet is one of my favorites.  Its just so damn productive and the pods so tasty and easy to work with.  I doubt I will even bother growing MOAs in the future, at least not next year for sure. The BBM x Caramel Madballz is coming around a bit.  The plant is still pretty small and won't ever get as big as my others but should be big enough to throw out a few dozen pods, it has a few small ones now, if they get picture worthy, I'll try to send some to you.

Any success with the bbg peach ghost jami?.  Can't wait to place an order this fall judging from these pics.  Well done!
Bad news on that one.   It was sickly from early on, I kept pruning it back and spraying trying to get it better, but gave up and pulled it. Once a plant is looking sick I don't mess around anymore and pull it if needed to keep from spreadng.  Most of the ones I have had issues with I think were my first wave of starts in some bad starting mix.  I swear that stuff had something in it.  I was too stupid to realize it right away and started about 50 plants in it.  I probably pulled 10 plants before they got 2 inches, but some seemed fine until after planting out.  Anyway, no BBG Peach Ghost Jami this year.  I do have another plant, its sort of unknown but a friend got this plant from a bleeding borg 9 seed last year.  It was peach with bbg calyx for her, and its looking like it will be peach for me.  Its kinda bhut shaped, and not too big.  It actually looks a big like the bbg peach ghost jami but not near as gnarly.

BSH said:
What can you do? Sick plants have to go sometimes. A peach bleeding Borg 9 sounds pretty wild though. I hope it works out for you man. Very impressed with your grow this year.
Yeah.  The peach pods are small, knda like mini bhuts, but pretty nice looking.  hopefully they will end up being something good.

I just tried some of these tonight in some salsa.   They are called Orange Jaky created by Rocco Maltesi.  Mine ripened more yellow, but that just seems to happen with me and orange strains.  This is one of the hottest yellows I have ever tried.  Probaby not as tasty as a yellow brain strain or yellow moruga, but damn was just shocked how hot these are.  Had an all over mouth burn that just didn't want to go away.    Also made some salsa with one of the brown reapers posted above.  That is the opposite of what I was expecting.  Much milder than I thought it would be, all throat burn nothing in the mouth but just a great taste,  absolutely no bitter or floral in it, just a great tasting pepper.  I suspect its some sort of cross and not a color variant, not as hot as the red, but probably a better tasting pepper.
