Pepper ID - curly

I have started growing this pepper which I got from my dad who doesn't remember where he got it but he's been growing it for years.

It can be quite curly and is around 15-25cm ie 6-10 inches in general.

Thin walled and quite crispy.

Pictures of the chillies in various stages of ripening. We pick them green for sweetness but it does become mildly hot if allowed to ripen.

The front ones in the small square pots are seedlings from this started around 3 weeks ago.

I'm a little late on this, but I would think that it is a corbaci.

Chinese name: 线椒

It means it likes line. fine and long

I got a chance to ask him a few weeks ago and he remembered he got it from a Turkish friend so well done with the Aci Sivri and Turkish snake answers.

It's a great snacking pepper.

The corbaci is from Turkey as well. It may be the same variety as the Aci Sivri or the Turkish snake, but different name for it? Not sure.

Well after a quick google search, it looks like the Turkish snake and Corbaci are the same pepper.

The Aci Sivri is supposed to have some heat to it, so I am jumping on the Corbaci bandwagon. I think I might try to pick up some seeds for next year... Sounds like a good one.
