Didn't see one and I noticed their are some people making their own Noodles so hope theirs going to be more interest. Gonna make some Noodles from scratch this weekend.

 

meanwhile;

 

Linguine Alfredo, kind ove.

 

Squid ink noodles and leftover clam chowder from this months Throwdown, topped with Blue Cheese and added more Dried Yellow Habaneros.

I'll be making ramen noodles here shortly. Not sure if i'm going to premake them tonight or wait until tomorrow. I still got soup stock and everything else going.

Gnocchi

2 potatoes, 2 cups of flour, 1 egg, water to touch up

Put through a ricer

Add flour and egg and knead. You may have to add a little water to have it all stick together

roll dough into rolls and cut into bite size pieces

roll pieces over a fork to form the noodle

boil in water until they float

put on whatever sauce you'd like.

Basic Quicky

 

Corn noodles cooked in Chicken stock and eggs topped with Sriracha sauce.

Thai curry/soup with thick egg noodles, crispy egg noodles, salty sweet pepper fried drumsticks, pickled mustard greens and shallots

These are killer in soup

pickled mustard greens

 

 

The name is somewhat misleading though. Its more like part of the tuber that has been pickled too. Chinese preserved mustard green soup is one of my favorites. They are also delicious in steamed dumpling sauce.
