Hard to tell in the pic but that rear end is at least a 3/4 ton and might be a 1 ton. If the smoker became obsolete at some point you could probably get your money back selling the rear end. Seems like a good deal to me at $500, but only if you have the space for it.
Oh and I dig that they put the valve covers on the fire box

It's complete, minus engine and tranny. Would have to have it towed. Can store wood in the bed.

Oh yeah! If it's a 12bolt and posi, probably more. Would have to find out if it is a C10 or C20. Would be a kick ass smoker at the tailgates. Fire department and all!

If you get a chance jump under and take a look at the rear end cover. From the looks of the hub, I'm gonna guess its a 1 ton 14 bolt. And being pre 1973 its worth $500 minimum, I figure.
EDIT: Ok, wait a minute, I was just looking it up and it cant be a 14 bolt if its pre 73' but I'm pretty certain it is 3/4 ton and not a 1/2 ton. Also could be a dana 60

It's on local Craigslist. Trying to figure out how to talk my other half into it. I wish it was a old VW Beetle. LOL!

im suprised to see one trashed out like that... i seem to recall the old ford wood bed farm trucks from the 50's were selling for thousands even in the worst possible condition.
