Storing seeds in baseball card sleeves?

I have been saving my seeds that way for years...I use a tiny ziplock, then into a coin envelope and then in to my card sleeve...everything into a binder....nice and organized.

Mine doesn't look as nice as yours with the coin sleeves but I'll get some pictures up soon.

This is what I do, I also have sections for baccatums, crosses, wilds ect. Makes it much quicker to find a variety. I got a nice zip up folder from walmart for under $10 and the card sleeves on amazon. I'm at work so don't have any pictures of it handy.

Nice - actually I think I may have seen yours before. I didn't think it was an original idea but I couldn't remember where I saw it (or even if it was with seeds).

Someone threw away my whole seed collection this past year while trying to clean up my kitchen, so I started storing them in tiny ziplocs inside baseball card holders in a binder.  Mine are currently tabbed by year.  Within each year they are alphabetized by base name, then color:

7-Pot, Yellow
7-Pot Brainstrain, Red
7-Pot Bubblegum, Red
7-Pot Bubblegum, Yellow
etc.

Makes it quick not only to find what I want, but to ensure I am either planting the oldest seeds or rotating them out for fresh ones.

I have upgraded the way I store my seeds……this has been working out nicely for me.
