Kaleidoscope

Among my extensive chocolate grow list, I have several other selections that interested me enough to grow them this year as well. Among them is the kaleidoscope chili. Below is the resulting sprout. It is rather interesting as it looks like a pitcher plant or some form of carnivorous plant.
I only started 1 so I have to let this one grow out and hope for the best.

Throw a bug in there and see what happens.

I would be to afraid to get my fingers that close. The question is, and feel free to post your guesses, will the next nodes come from the inside or the base of this node?

Who knows, This is one hell of a mutation, especially so early on in it's life. It may have trouble getting enough light if that rolled leaf falls over, but as long as the cotyledons are there it should be able to pump out another leaf. My guess is it will come from the node, but the real question is if the other leaf will come out the same way?

^^What he said. I agree with all of it. Great question, mang! I hope it keeps on growing the same way. The leaf looks very healthy, so I can see more leaves in its future. Awesome looking plant! I can't wait to see what becomes of it.

Well, it got itself transplanted to the larger solo cup. Roots looked good and healthy. Will be watching for the next development.

Update,

I dont ever recall seeing branching occurring at the cotys but, that seems to be where the new growth is going to come from.
