Trippaul Threat (PdN x BMJ) Community Grow

This is a dedicated grow log for Tristen's awesome cross, which I
have been growing out since 2014.  I'll start with a bit of history and
some photos documenting what's happened so far.
 
In January of 2014, Tristen (Trippa) sent me a little care package of seeds.
In the package were two generations of a cross he had made, which he just 
called 'Mystery Cross, F1' and 'Mystery Cross, F2'.

Up close look at Trippa's Mystery Crosses, F1 and F2.  Both culled to a single
plant after the photo taken, so I only had one plant of each generation:

This will probably be the last update until the end of June,
since we are going out of town for awhile. Our son is caretaking
house, plants and yard for us in the meantime. Ill try to check in
to the thread once in a while, so I hope everyone will keep their
progress updated so I can marvel at your mad skills!

The F4 plants still outpacing the F6 plants in terms of height. Overall
growth for both has slowed while the roots are busy exploring their
new containers. Once the roots begin to hit the sides of the pots, I
expect there will be a major growth spurt.

A couple of the F4 plants sort of caught a cold or something and
developed some funky leaves a while back, but the new leaves seem
to have shaken it off.

Its hard to get a decent pic of the plants in a group, so I shot each
plant separately.

I ended up with three whites and three purples. Their leaves all just flattened back out from over watering, and the seem to have straightened up(like my hunchback brother)!

Thanks, Lourens.  Segovia is a cool place, especially the old part of the city.
Lots to see and history to absorb.  Maybe I can sneak in an off-topic picture
once in a while  :shh:
 
Your grow is awesome this year, buddy - good luck getting through the grow
season with no calamities!

Alright, Indigo! Hooks ahoy!  My purples took a while to germinate, too,
but I had very poor germ rates on my purple pod seed. Good luck going
forward!

Hey, Matt.  I have always thought of it as PDN x Bonda, but Tristen
can speak to paternal and maternal parentage better than I. What say,

Nice even balance with 3 of each colour, and a few more maybe [emoji23][emoji23].

Howdy folks! My PDN x Bonda seedlings are finally in soil and looking very purple. I have one t5 fluorescent tube out of four that's 6400k plus UV output, and I think it's caused the "suntan."

Oh, yeah, Rick, those look great. Love the purple color, alright.
I hope they perform up to your expectations!

We got into Segovia today, after 30 hours of traveling and a short
Night in Madrid last night. Its nice to be here again in the heart of
a 15th century city.

Peppamang, could you make that image a bit bigger, I couldn't quite make out the iron molecules in the soil  :rofl:
