Trippaul Threat (PdN x BMJ) Community Grow

This is a dedicated grow log for Tristen's awesome cross, which I
have been growing out since 2014.  I'll start with a bit of history and
some photos documenting what's happened so far.

In January of 2014, Tristen (Trippa) sent me a little care package of seeds.
In the package were two generations of a cross he had made, which he just
called 'Mystery Cross, F1' and 'Mystery Cross, F2'.

Here's Trippa's Mystery Cross seedlings in February of 2014:

Both generations showing the purple foliage characteristic since the beginning.

Up close look at Trippa's Mystery Crosses, F1 and F2.  Both culled to a single
plant after the photo taken, so I only had one plant of each generation:

Plants are looking great Paul!

Indoor pods are just as good as outdoors :shh: ;)

I have one Purple in the dirt and one waiting for the next cool front to pass. Plus I have another purple colored plant, a mystery at this point. Hopefully a white. Sometimes I get lost in the sauce..

I know I owe you pics ;)  It's spring break and we still be a runnin'....playin' that catsup game..

Got some of these on the way from sawyer, really excited to grow some.   Pretty sure they are the f7w variant.
I'm glad you are joining in, Brandon.

Good luck with them!

I feel bad but they have been stuck on the bottom shelf, and have became part of the led experiment down there.

Wow, if these are any indication, I'd say
your LED experiment was a success.
What a beautiful array of plants, Andy.
You have the premier grow of the F7
season, my friend!

If you can get Pepper Guru to say 'WOW',
that's quite an accolade!

What are those little bands your using? They look like tje things they put on a wild animals ankle to track them lol. Haha I thought so too!
They are little pieces of plastic straw. I got
the idea from a Peter Stanley video on isolating
flowers. It's a way to mark the pods to show
they are isolated. I also use little pieces of twist-tie
to mark the iso pods.

OK, officially shamed. I have just one violet F57, my one white F57 drew the rath of the great daemon Dampoff, but Andy's display is just humiliating enough that I put ALL the rest of what Paul sent me to soak yesterday.

Color me a Bhuthead-licker if you want, but I'm gonna have a couple rows of PURPLE, dammit!!

That's the spirit, Eric! I still have a few seeds,
so there is some for a late summer/fall grow

I know what you mean about Andy. And he's only
growing 450 plants. What a slacker..

Egawd, it's feast or famine with these seeds somtimes...

F7 White, 20 hour soak, planted YESTERDAY @ 11 am...

I've never had a plant sprout in less than 24 hours. Ever. Mold? Yes. Fungus? Again, yes. This is nothing short of miraculous to me...

I planted 12 seeds into 3 pods yesterday, just for "perspective".

At this rate I should be picking fruit in 3 weeks...

No? Hmm. I just looked again and there's an F7 Violet hooking as well.

These seeds soaked in a hurried mix of 1 cup water to +/- a quarter cup 3% peroxide. I can't help but suspect the soak is the catalyst....
I didn't soak these F7W, but I'm doing a comparison of no soak vs. a multi-step soak with some of my oldest seeds. If I get any interesting results, I'll post about it somewhere. A peroxide soak is part of the process.

  That is pretty amazing, Eric! The Moon must be in the right position!

That's awesome, and an F7 to boot.
I hope a lot more sprout for you.

I planted 75 F7W yesterday. No sprouts yet, though.
Wow  that is super, John! I hope all of them
don't sprout overnight like Eric's, you will be
overwhelmed with starts

Really, good luck with them. Are some of these
from your own F6 grow? I am looking forward
to seeing how Bhuter's strain, yours, and the
ones I'm growing  compare.

Here's to a high percentage rate!

Sounds like the magic formula, Eric. I may
try that with some of my older seeds that
are being stubborn.

Good work, buddy!
