Last of the early rounds of F7W pods beginning to ripen up.

Really hoping for another round of bigger pods.

I'm having caterpiller issues this year, over a dozen dispatched so far, but they keep coming. I actually began believing that the two PdeN X BmaJ plants on my deck were unappetizing to the little bastiges, until last night, that is:

I even invested $8 in a UV flashlight to hunt these guys, but found that some worms just don't glow...

Yet I endeavor to percevere...

I think there are different wave length uv lamps, some things show up better under a different wavelength.

Reading the product description for this flashlight leaves no doubt that English is *NOT* the native language for the author.  :)

A little BT powder, AKA Dipel dust works wonders for the bastages...

I dust the plants, and some gets in-on the soil. Which is good for the ones that hatch from eggs burrowed in the soil. Of course they have to consume the BT..

Hey, Rich. I really dig the color, even though
they are more yellow than white. I am a little
disappointed in the size. I think it must have
to do with the small pots they are in.

I cant wait to see what your plants produce, buddy!

They are going nuts...

Also out of my two violets the one is showing that incredible fasciation!!! I let her go and she went straight up on once side while the other galaxy spiral apical stem side stalled for a bit and then broke away from its spiral to branch out and is now following the other up to the stratosphere! Very cool plants man. Just wow.
