Good luck with your first grow! I have a couple of recommendations for growing peppers in a hot desert climate: start your seeds early, and consider investing in some shade cloth for the summer months.

Well, I noticed that you have plenty of good chinense varieties in your grow list, and some annuums as well, but no baccatums at all. Why not? There are plenty of really good, flavorful baccatum varieties out there. If you have never tried any, then you are missing out  :). Aji Fantasy and Brazilian Starfish are a couple of really good ones IMO.

Thanks for the advice, what % shade do you recommend ? 35% 50%? Yes im planning some rocottos what are your favorites? Also planning the ajis and a aji pinneaple Also, what other recomendations for extreme hot wheather? Best regards !!

An explosive ember huh?? Sounds interesting. I'll have to get my hands on some.

I'm going to play with a couple plants next year. I am going to start 3 different seeds in one areogarden pod, hopefully they all take and I want to loosely braid them. I hope it works. I've seen it in a few places but maybe it will work for me HAHAHAHAHA. Well happy growing bud. I look forward to the updates.
