Now that it is almost time to plant out, I figured I'd start up my GLOG for the year. I've cut out almost all superhots this year, and am growing solely peppers I regularly cook with. Here is a link to my glog last year:

I did a good job documenting my grow last season, but I plan to give more regular updates this year. I'm growing more veggies this year too, so I needed to free up some space in my garden. Here is the list for the year. All of these are either OW plants or well established seedlings.

I've really got a taste for Salsa Criolla now.
Is the Rocoto Ariquipeno you sent me a "giant" sized red rocoto? I'm looking to try my hand at the rocoto relleno next year for sure.

The rocoto arequipeño isn't a giant sized pepper, but it's still pretty big. I've made rocoto relleno with the pods quite a few times.

My friend's girlfriend just got back from Peru. I had asked her and her family to get me some seeds while they were there. They gave me all of these seeds last night. Even though I grow most of these already, I'll probably grow one plant from each seed pack next year. I gave them a bag of fresh aji limo from my garden to thank them.

It doesn't get any more legit than this!
Aji Panca is a very prolific, great-tasting chile. It's great for tempering the heat from supers in powder blends. I tried to grow them a few years ago but our season is too short for them this far north.

Thanks! I kept the one Carolina Reaper plant going this year, just to have one super hot in the garden. I still have many bags full of dried super hots from my garden last year, that I still haven't gotten into. I decided to grow the peppers I can eat every day this year.

Well said, I'm leaning in the same direction. I'll still grow some real heat, but the main goal is to grow what the wife will cook and eat. And she's using quite a bit more peppers in meals now than before, as I dedicated more than half the grow to suit her :P
