[Apr 10] What are you working on this week?

Till 300 sq. ft. of garden. Transplanted fig cuttings to larger pots. Going to plant some rhubarb, onions and start off some lettuce while waiting for some other vegetables to get bigger in the seed trays. Keeping pepper plants alive while waiting for May 2.

Making vegan pot pies this week and a filet-no-fish sandwich.  Let my OW have some outside time today.

If weather permits I'm sneaking off to go camping, I love campfire foods, though about packing some stuffed poblanos to throw on the campfire...
We'll be off the Mississippi River if we go, but there's already flood warnings :(

Got a big tub full of chlorine water (1/2 cup in about 10 gallons) and scrubbed the crap out of my old planting containers. Rinsed them real good and set them aside for potting up from 1 gal containers to 3, 5, and 7 gal containers. Also a couple 15 gal ones for the strongest looking plants.

Turned over my pepper beds from last year to prep for summer and winter squash. Hardening off my peppers for transplanting outside, which will begin this Thursday. All OW plants will go out first, followed by a second wave of transplants this Sunday. The third wave of peppers, along with veggies, will happen on the 30th.

Today i pickled some habanero's and onion with a dash of shredded lemon/lime peels and started moving my seedlings into larger pots. Tomorrow who knows? might smoke some peppers on the grill if the weather stays nice...

Drip irrigation for 12 buckets.

Raised one edge of a small plot so its almost level now.

Prepped the soil in all the planters on the deck and getting herbs started in one of them.

Waiting for Black Kow composted manure and mushroom compost to go on sale.
