Dunk from Oklahoma (reintroducing myself)

Howdy folks,

It's been about 9 years since I've visited this site, and I just recently saw an e-mail from THP that made me want to revisit and I'm glad that I did. I'm currently still enlisted with the USAF (going on 11 years), 32 years old, and live in Moore, OK. I'm originally from San Antonio, TX. Over the past 9 few years I've moved out of my cramped dormitories with a few planters on my porch to buying a house and building an intricate system of raised beds with irrigation systems and all sorts of fancy things for growing veggies/peppers. I've still got quite a few phases to go as far as additions. The past 4 years I've spent perfecting a recipe that I'll eventually try to sell. As I've progressed I've given it all away in exchange for pictures, critiques, and just the overall point of making people happy with something tasty. Last year alone I gave away 200 bottles, and am trying to up that to 2000 this year. We'll see how that goes. Looking forward to being more active this time around now that I'm not constantly deploying around the world away from my hobbies.

Malarky,

Thanks for the support. :P

Mostly your standard peppers with a variety of the unusual ones like lemon-drops or other's that I buy off burpee's website. So far it's a mix of 7 different peppers. It's a bit thicker than most hot sauces, with the smaller dripper for a slower dispense forcing you to be frugal with it since a little goes a long way, it's got just enough kick to be considered mild (at first), I leave a few seeds in so that it gradually gains heat over time. With it being a bit thicker I'm able to focus on flavor more. It's designed with spice newbies in mind to get them loving hot sauce and spicy foods. So far out of the 20 test subjects who do not like spice it has had a 100% success rate.  . Most of my test subjects here in my squadrons love it, and keep asking for more and I have to keep telling them they'll have to wait til later on in the year lol!
