windchicken 2017

My every season starts with Texas Pequin, because it never stops growing. A few weeks back we dug up about 30 of these perennial plants to rescue them from the relentless march of the upcoming super hots...

Very nice video, and your garden always impresses ;)

As for hosting, I use my own private domain, left over from when we did dial up Internet. I still have enough customers who wish to keep their old email addresses, after closing the ISP 9 years ago, to cover our costs..AKA free for us :shh:

But look into the THP charges, or shop around and get your own domain, garywindchicken.com is open. Type "domain search" into google and look what godaddy has to offer...this way they can never take your pics down, cuz they want to...

If you ever need help doing this PM me, been doing this stuff since 1995...

Since Dropbox deactivated its Public Folder service, the links to all my images on THP for the last 4-5 years are now broken. Please bear with me, my friends, while I search for another way to host photos to THP....

Maybe one day that service will be baked into our beloved forums!!!

The one and only complaint I have!!!!

Thanks Scott! I actually own a domain name and web server space I set up back in the early oughts when "blogging" was all the rage. That's probably what I will do....

I love this community, Rob, and I will always cherish the THP spirit of sharing, sincere helpfulness, and the international chile head brotherhood who welcomed me so warmly back in the day. But if the few diehard friends I still have here who refuse to use the other platforms would finally make the jump, there would be little reason for me to stay...

On your phone, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click "Full Version," it'll show just about (if not) everything that a regular computer monitor would show. Might be part of the problem there

Thanks Mike! Sadly, even on my iPad Mini the "Full Site" version of thehotpepper.com won't display the iCloud still images...
