Hi from Arizona, new grower!

Hi all, I've recently (last year) started growing peppers along with other vegetables in my backyard here in the Phoenix area. It's been rough trying to get them going in pots but I've had some success with a Poblano and purple Bhut lately. Looking forward to getting a few habanero and 7 Pot plants going later on this year since summer is creeping up fast here in the desert.

Welcome I'm a noob myself and am just down south from you. Staring last year and it all Spicy Hot from there. Again welcome

I live in Miami and like me you shouldn't have a problem getting enough sun in AZ. I only just started growing in south Florida (from Virginia originally) and so far my biggest issue has been hydration and pests. Just keep them watered and get yourself any kind of vegetable pesticide that has Neem in it. Also, I've had great success fertilizing with fish emulsion (available at Lowes/Home Depot).
