This is my first time as well. THSC said 2-4 weeks, but I think that that was for chillies in general.
 
Is 30-33 degrees too hot for germination? I stuck a thermometer into the container in my last post (2nd Photo) and that was the temp. I moved it off the modem in case. I'll see the  temp in a short while...

Root shoots after three days! First sign of them on Saturday, and I haven't gotten my jiffy pellets yet! :rofl: I'll pick some up today and post some pictures later.
I've got my eye on an LED batten light at Bunnings, you might've noticed me asking about it in the grow tech forum, I'll be getting my hands on one this week (hopefully).

Looks like most of us are off to a good start! :party:

Somehow you got a typo in there TBG. Did you mean to say 50g.  :whistle:
 
Nice little setup and that you got shoots so quick, they must be happy in their home.

While I'm posting, I've now got 2/3 seeds rooting and transferred into Jiffys! Third one expected within 24 hours. Maybe hooks from the first within two days???

Mmmm my post was 8:33 so I object to your disqualification and counter with ... hey that blob on your finger looks just like a booger. We growing peppers here not nose balls.
 
Weirdest thing though - checked this morning on the laptop and apparently I posted that photo at 4:33am ... today.
 
So it's 7:33pm on your PC, 8:33pm on my PC and iPhone and 4:33am on the laptop.
