contest 2017 Inaugural Southern Hemisphere Growdown Throwdown Aji Amarillo

Temperatures are changing pretty quick now. We down to 10 degrees night time and apparently big cold front on its way.

Don’t know about you guys but I’ll be bringing the Amarillo undercover and pushing harvests until the very last day [emoji41]

Long time between drinks here. finally back into the swing of things after getting married and get setting across the globe to Korea for a bit.
 
The Aji survived getting burnt... only just though, I have a few growing but I think I'll take this time to admit defeat :(

No idea when I got the first flower or fruit. There's one on the ground now so it must have been some time ago, but they are soo small haha. 
Maybe next time I should have some better results :)

KAOS has hit the 1kg mark! Congrats!
 
Weather has been uncharacteristically good on my turf, got a few more pods colouring up now, too. Might not need to take them into a better position until May, fingers crossed!
 
Also good to see LocalFart isn't out of the game just yet, hang in there, they'll start coming in time!
 
Still no sign of any challenge to my 45g monster pod! :rofl:
 
Also, now is probably the time to start thinking about what each of us will contribute towards the prize(s).

Things still happening here. Heaps of pods starting to ripen and lots more babies just getting started too. Hoping to have some more to harvest soon

Did a major pick today as weather set to turn again and if all goes well might have one last harvest.

All pods on plant are now green ones and it’s gonna take a while for these to ripen lol

I'm watching the big pod on my plant ripen millimetre by millimetre... These things take soooo long it's painful. Don't think it'll hit 45g though unfortunately!

213g / 16 pods / 24g heaviest

Things are slowing down , but might have one more harvest. Temps are down to 5c at night and days getting rather short.

Picking are getting slim now, but she's still pushing out the pods.
 
I'll wait until the 20th June and do one last harvest unless the frost gets too bad.
