cooking No cook lemon drop hot sauce

300gram lemon drops (frozen)
1/2 cup Korean brown rice vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/2 tbs lime juice
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
 
Blend the living snot out of it until fairly smooth and refrigerate for a week
 
After a week i will strain and bottle.
 
Fresh it tasted pretty good and kinda hot for a lemon drop hot sauce too. Nice bright yellow color

Thanks for the recipe. I will give it a shot. Need to make some room in the freezer. Half of the freezer full of peppers.
 
Clearing out the freezer was the goal and to try something a tiny bit different too. The frozen pods puree very well even without cooking them down. I didn't even bother rough chopping them first. I just removed the stems and tossed them in the NutriBullet with the brine.
 
Im going to try this again but use water i boiled first with lemon grass. It works really well with lemon drop hot sauce. The lime i used in this one worked quite well too.
 
Lemon Drop and Cayenne or Tabasco sounds interesting too for a wing sauce.
