I planted corn in one of my raised beds this year for the first time. The first row I planted has started to tassel and they're only 3 feet tall, is this going to be a problem? They look healthy otherwise, the only issues I can think of is that they're overcrowded and/or the soil has been too wet (tons of rain for the last two weeks). It's golden bantam.

Corn tassels early when stressed. Mine suffered 3 blowdowns in a month last year and tasseled when about 3 foot tall.
Some varieties are engineered shorter, but I've grown bantam and it can, if it REALLY likes you, grow upwards of 8-10 feet.
Height doesn't matter, cobs matter. Look for silk.
