Do all super hots drop flowers as easily as Ghosts?

My ghost plant keeps dropping flowers. I know temperatures can be one reason for this. My question is, are other plants like Scorpion and Reapers known to drop flowers as easily as ghosts? I've been feeding it and watering it properly. I've even been carefully trying to pollinate it using a small brush. I might try growing something else next year if this problem persists.

Here's a pic. Several of these dropped off.

flower dropping isn't very variable between varieties.

if you are having problems it is probably not the genetics.

Any advice on how to prevent it? I've even been bringing the plant inside at night when outside temps get a little low.

Interesting. I've always found it to be far more of a problem in ghosts than any other varieties myself.

Usually they drop if it is either really hot and humid, or if it is cold (relative to what they need). What is the average temp during the day? During the night?
Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. Pacific north west, you have a long way to go before it's too cold for your peppers to go outside, right? Just give them some time.

Yeah, I do still have a long way to go before it gets too cold outside. This is the weather for the next week. I guess I need to be more patient! July and August should help

Nice weather! Im a little jealous, weather near me has been like a hot sauna. For c. chinense, it seems they prefer the hotter temps to pod up. If it's been in the 70's during the day and dropping to around 50 at night, that's probably why they've been dropping flowers. However, they do great for vegetative growth during those temps. Once those consistent 85+ days come around they'll explode with pods, don't worry about having none now. Your plants look healthy and in a month or so you'll probably be saying "what the hell am I gunna do with all of these peppers" haha.

Flower dropping may not be, but pollen production and flower shape-i.e. anther proximity to pistil- is.
