Yellowish spot on my coolapeno pepper fruit

Since it contains so much nitrogen I think it will encourage way too much leafy growth. What does gypsum contain besides calcium?

I think that is just a myth we can thank pot growers for. I'm pretty sure plants just take the nutes they need, and the rest stays in the soil. So even though the plant uses nitrogen for growing leaves, adding more nitrogen will not result in more leafy growth.

Edit: It might look like it works like that if the soil didn't contain enough nitrogen in the first place, and you add more. But that is just a wrong determination of cause-effect.
