G.I.P.'s 2017 "oh HAIL no" Glog

This is currently a placeholder for what i will attempt to piece together as a Glog for this year

I took hardly any pics of my seedlings, :(  and when the weather was finally warm enough at night for my plants to go outside;  They got shredded by hail, nearly drown in rains for days straight, tore up by winds. :mope:

Long story shortened, my season has had a rough start and most of my plants don't look so good

So, although my plants are not nearly as nice as many others who have Glogs i have been following.
I will attempt to keep a log of this years grow anyway :)

Pics to follow soon...

Awesome grow log, Gipper!  Very colorful and full of variety.

I feel your pain about the weather.  Hail just about took out my
pubescens - fortunately nothing else was planted out yet. The
record-setting Spring rain and wild temp swings set the rest of
my grow back about 4-6 weeks; just started putting on decent
growth and setting pods a few weeks ago.

The Yaki Blue is a great looking plant.  It could pass for one of
Trippa's PDNxBonda Ma Jacques crosses.  How big are the pods?
They are gnarlier than the PDN cross.

Keep on raising the bar, my friend!

I've been in and out in vacation land, and come back to see a wonderful garden. To think a short while ago things were looking on the rough side. A fine example of your skills ;)

Great variety for sure. The Yaki Blue is such a nasty looking beauty! Have you tried one yet? The flower pics are fantastic too!

Keep it going bud!
Thanks Scott, and to think i'd almost given up on doing a Glog this years because my plants didn't look good, and i had such a rough start. Glad i decided to try to document this years grow anyway. Yeah that Yaki Blue is a very beautiful plant with some fantastic looking pods.
This is my first year growing it, I have yet to try one, waiting on that first ripe pod

Thanks Paul,  The Yaki Blue pods have some size to them, I'm not going to try to guess measurements, but i'll be sure to get measurements and pod weight when i try my first pod from that beautiful plant

thanks for stopping by to check out the Garden :)

Woohoo! That Yaki has terrific color. And it's loaded. I'm also interested to find out how the Aribibi Gusano tastes. It's very prolific! I love Mojo's crosses...that last OrangeGum Tiger looks amazing. I grew Peach Wasp a coupe of years ago and loved it. I hope they ripen to peach for you. A nice, clean, flavor with sharp habanero-type heat. A+! Looking great!

hello everyone
i have some new pods forming, and some more ripening
here's a little Update:
