Ramen with Pork Jowl bacon

Has anyone used pork jowls for anything? Was grabbing a few things for ramen and a pack of pork jowl bacon kind of jumped out at me. Don't think i've ever seen jowls. Pretty sure it's the same as pork cheeks.

Google search does produce some results for braised pork cheeks in ramen.

I'm sure you'll knock it out of the park. Cheeks are some of the most underrated cuts on the animal...they always turn out nice when braised.

Sweet, I got a roasted chicken carcass in the freezer, wish I had some pork bones to use in the broth. Would love to try my hand at a tonkatsu broth. It always looks so flavorful.
