Hey all! New chilli hobbyist from Melbourne, Australia

Hello!

Well... As strange as this sounds, I have come from disliking all hot food/chilli to becoming a complete convert thanks to a bite of a carolina reaper (you gotta start somewhere right? :fireball: ). After this experience and many weeks researching this amazing fruit, I am hooked! The flavours, variety, science, health benefits, community etc is great and I'm looking very forward to being a part of it!  :)

Needless to say, I have just started my very first batch of plants (jiffy pellets in a heated propagator as it's still pretty cold down here). I went for a bit of a crazy mix and got all my seeds (minus the carolina reaper) from Neil @ THSC as you all may know as being quite legendary in the community.

What I have currently germinating:
Purple UFO
Brazilian Starfish
Fidalga Amarillo
Butch T Scorpion
Bishops Crown (Multicoloured)
AJI Pineapple
Goat Horn
Carolina Reaper

Here's hoping I have luck with these as it's very exciting and can't wait for these to grow!.

Nice to meet ya's!
-Matt

Welcome to the forums, I can see you already have some real goodies growing.
The Butch T is, in my experience, the fruitiest of Scorpions, while the Pineapple Aji is a great salad pepper for those who like hot.
