Need some I.D. assistance

I bought some Big Black Mamma seeds. Planted 2 plants from them. 1 grew true. Beautiful BBM plant with smoking hot brown pods. The other plant has been purple since the day it broke thru the surface of the soil. Some research suggested it was a soil issue that was turning it purple. The problem is I mix my soul in a 50 gallon drum and all 24 of this year's plants used the same batch of soil. This is the only plant that is purple. As you can see in the link, both the plant and the pods are purple. Haven't had one ripe yet so I can't comment on the heat level or the flavor profile. Any idea what this pepper could be? I will try to find a similar flower.

There are 2 pictures here. Pods and plant. Currently no flowers to get a pic of, but they are white with purple that looks like it belongs there.

i agree with BlackFatalii  that would be genetics not soil making your plant purple like that
beautiful looking plant  :cool:

it kinda reminds me of a darker foliage pheno of this relatively new 3 way cross going around;

I couldn't begin to try to guess as to what the cross actually is that you are growing
but you've got a nice looking plant with some good looking pods
and they ripen to red, cool :)

let us know how you think they taste

I really like the look of all the purple foliage plants that growers are working with more now
