Aji Crystal/CAP267

Geonerd sent me a variety of seed last Spring, baccatum mostly, one of them being a packet of CAP267, which I've found really sparse for info when trying to research, but I read "somewhere" that CAP267 is virtually the same as the Aji Crystal. I've found a LOT more intel on that pepper. The one I grew is THE most productive pepper in the 8th acre.

Branches are being pulled to the ground by the weight of pods. A lot of these pods are over 5 inches long, I'm ecstatic.

I'm reading odd things about harvest, such as ripe is NOT the optimal harvest stage unless to get seeds (aji crystal). I'd like to know more, especially if these two varieties are for all intents the same, and if picking yellow IS better than red ripe, flavor-wise....

CAP 267 is supposedly a Finnish "creation", said (by them  ) to be the world's greatest chile....

Thanks for any input.

If it is Aji Cristal it is supposed to be better at the yellow stage. Not sure about CAP267 you could always leave a few on to get fully ripe and see what you personally prefer I guess.
