The black is just sunburn. Can't tell what type of pepper it is at this point. They aren't close to being ready yet.

Ok thank you. Will sunburn effect the chillies? Also is there any way to avoid it happening?

Some kind of annuum. Sunburn doesn't effect chile taste.
 
If you keep the chiles out of direct sun all the time they won't sunburn
