Food Storage Requirements - Grocery license?

Here is a topic I rarely see discussed.  What are the general requirements for storing sealed commercial food goods.  Lets say you use a copacker but do not want to use their warehouse.  I am sure you can not just keep it in a spare room in your house.  I kind of wonder about a lot of people on Ebay that seem to be buying from Walmart and selling on line.

My thought would be it would be the same rules as one of those hot sauce only store fronts.  There is a couple on here that has one I think on the West Coast.  Great people & beautiful store but for the life of me I can not remember their names.

Just dreaming, but thought good conversation.
