Numb Nuts - A funny maybe new variety I am working on.

Not thinking this is going to be some great new variety and I did not create it.  As food, I think it kind of sucks.  Story goes, back when Jigsaw was hard to get I sourced the thing from different places hoping one would be right.  One of the seed packs grew out as if it were the most perfect little Moruga Scorpion / Brain Strain looking thing.  Tasted it and my tongue went numb.  Not numb like oh damn this is hot.  Some heat, but much more numb.  Being stupid, I finished the pod.  Ab hour later, I ate a second my another plant with the same appearance.  Same effect but I also puked and I dont often puke.

I have lots of nerve damage and pain in my feet and lower legs.  Parts of left food amputated and got the phantom pain going on there.  Was already using peppers on my legs, so I figured I should try these.  I do think it is a wee bit better than the other peppers I have tried, but since then Aspercreme has been allowed to use more lidocaine. Much nicer not to leave eye burning pepper cream all over the place.  Wife got the pepper stuff in her eyes doing laundry and almost killed me.

So it doesn;t taste good.  I doubt it is any hotter than other super hots (cant tell).  I dont think it is any better than lidocaine.  But if it grows out right next year, I am probably going to offer the seeds to folk to experiment with.  Why?  Because I think it would be cool to have a pepper out there called Numb Nuts.

So how do I get it to switch from Red to Blue?
