If it will help the train get back on track,, I can mail a heck of a collection to where it fell off the tracks.  Then the person who did not get it can add his / hers to mine and put it back on the rails.
I have sent a message to transient exuberance but have not heard back from him yet. What I would like to do, until we can figure out if someone is stealing packages off his doorstep, is to have me personally deliver any seeds to him, since he lives only the next town over from me.

There really are some amazing people here.

I don't know exactly what happened. Which means I can't be sure it won't happen again. We have a new mailman, My guess is that he misplaced it after marking it delivered. Between now and Christmas there will be a lot of packages delivered here, I sure hope this was just a one time problem.

Getting this back on track sounds great to me. Your offers are very much appreciated.

Maybe the best thing to do is for AJ and me to send what we're adding to the next in line.

When train B comes around if Jeff is still willing to bring it to me that will be great. Otherwise I'm OK with just skipping me.

There is no need for you to go out of your way for me Jeff. And I really don't want to take a chance of both cars getting derailed at my house.

Id like to wait a few days before we make a decision. I don’t want to write it off just yet.

However, Im leaning towards finishing with one train (the B train) since it will be the same contents either way. No sense in everyone paying twice for shipping if it will all fit into a single pack.

You're right, two cars doesn't make much sense unless they're both full.

I'll keep trying to track down car A and if I can get it, I'll send it on to whoever everyone thinks best.

One of our mail people is afraid of dogs and rather than put packages on the covered porch when it's raining, she puts it in our car back seat or trunk. The dogs are in the house. Sometimes she doesn't let us know she did this and I find the package days later.

I started to file a missing mail search request, but I need ti get the sender address. As soon as Hillbilly Jeff gets back to me I'll get that started. There is at least a little hope of finding it. I'm sure it wasn't delivered so it may have been put back on the truck and brought back to Boston. My local Post Office says if it did go back, that's where it would be.

We had one a few years ago who would not deliver to a house if there were any people near the house. he would go down the street, skip any houses with people around and come back in a half hour or so to try again. sometimes it would take him four or five passes to get to all the houses. He always got it there eventually though.

The guy we had until recently was great. Always roughly the same time, friendly, and a pepperhead. He would always walk around the house next to mine to check on my plants. I told him he was free to take as many as he wanted. I think he only ever took a few cumari do paras though.

Package arrived safe and sound. I will try to get it out sometime this week.
Have you had an opportunity to sort through the pack and make your selections? We would like to aim for a 3 day turn around after receiving the package.

Our new mail person is afraid of ducks.  Hoping to have a pick up / drop off point set up for next year so I can print my own postage and not go to post office.  Going to use the other side of the farm where the ducks dont hang out just for her.
