Pretty sure that's the stuff that Mexican fruit vendors have you try at the flea market, doesn't taste bad, but the seeds are really weird. I might be confusing this with something else
 
I'm not a huge fan of it personally. They sell the pulp frozen with no added sugar at my local international market. I'm much more of a fan of cashew apples, papaya, guava, and passion fruit, when it comes to tropical fruits.
