Comfort Food Thread

Searched and found one 7 years ago and instead of activating a necro thread with dead photobucket links I thought might start a new one. Winter here so probably gona do some sweet stuff :D
 
Had a craving for eggs lately. Rye bread/tomato with a slab of Havarti, Golden berry hot sauce and harissa sauce.

Supper Tonight :D
 
Spiced Pear Kuchen
 
Dough
Fife Flour, Powder Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, salt, yeast, butter.
 
Topping
Dried apricots, Burning bush pepper crushed, Pears, Cinnamon, Honey, Cheddar.
 
Spice hit my eyes when I opened the oven lol. 
Honey turned to toffee, nice heat about a bit less then Jalapeno, actually it builds up (as im typing) so id say about Jalapeno :)

it was pickled Hot garlic baby pickled Cuces, Pickled Aji Ahuachapan and Sugar Rush cream peppers, with baby mozzarella, Wisconsin white cheddar, and prosciutto.

Garlic and Herb (rosemary,thyme,basil,oregano) chicken breast with melted Wisconsin white cheddar over a bed of MacNCheese
W/ Shoreriders: Skullburner Smoke'N'Fire Sauce and a roasted Aji Finlandia pepper!

   If drinkin' Horseradish vodka, then eatin' baked garlic/herb Chicken and MacNcheese with hot sauce :hotsauce: isn't comfort food...  Well then i need another lesson in comfort food  :rofl:
 
It was delicious, and i feel really comfortable right meow :D
