Had a craving for eggs lately. Rye bread/tomato with a slab of Havarti, Golden berry hot sauce and harissa sauce.

Cooked some shorty's, braised with mashed potatoes and greens topped with Sir Racha!

Off the charts awesome. This is the antidote to opioids.

And check this out, last week I do a food trip and stumble on these marked down. How can you leave it sitting all alone waiting for someone to treat them wrong.

I don't know what's up with that store. It's new, opened about 4 months ago and it'a a big chain. I always find deals there. They mark down every thing a day before or the day of the sell date.

Look at some of these deals I found

"even" lolll

"Even" is a compliment coming from a Cajun.

It's not traditional, that gravy is more of a couvion instead of an etoufee gravy and he didn't add cheese to the grits.

So yes, an "Even" from me is a compliment.

Maybe he intentionally made it that way and I was was giving a compliment from a Coonass!!!

Thank you, Rajun, the dish came out absolutely as intended, and the grits did have cheese.

Me too and I like the fact people are cooking their own versions of any dish, you can't get better if you don't try and sometimes you stumble on that "Oh Shit" moment and make something that's awesome.

It was awesome!

I've been wanting to make something sweet lately so I whipped up some old timey comfort .. peanut butter cookies. The recipe says I should have gotten four dozen cookies out of this batch... Balderdash! I'm short by about 15 cookies... But they still taste good [emoji5]

Batter to cookie paired with some black rifle coffee. Life is good.
