Is there a list for repudible seed sellers?

Hi, I'm shopping for seed for next year. Can anyone point me to a list of reliable seed sellers, either here or on the net?  I've looked at ebay, but am not totally trusting of what I'd actually receive.

Thanks.

Personally, I wouldn't put Pepper Joe on par with the other 5 vendors that Peter_L listed. There are too many people complaining about their seeds not growing true. Check PJ's feedback in the Vendor Vault, then compare that to the feedback of the other vendors listed and you will see what I am talking about. All the other vendors on Peter's list are great though, IMO.

Man, that list looks solid.  I wouldn't buy anything off pepper joe personally as he seems like a pusher.  Too many pushers from the 60s and 70s gettin kids hooked on the white hot peppers.

Along with the great advice that has already been given here, many members here are selling fresh pods right now.

You can get many different varieties of peppers in the one "seed saver" box and save the seeds of the ones you like. This way you can invest a season in peppers you already know you'll enjoy.

SR.

Thanks for the suggestions. Greatly appreciated. I will have fun checking them out.

I really like the idea of seed savers boxes, but most that I've looked at appear to have very hot peppers in them.

What do the acronyms SFRB and MFRB mean?

Thanks.

SFRB = Small Flat Rate Box
MFRG = Medium Flat Rate Box

They refer to the standard-sized USPS priority mail postage boxes.

Texas hot peppers was selling seed saver boxes a week or so ago, I would say if you are interested in saving your own seed check him out. I won an auction with 130 or so different varieties

I like Midwest Chili Heads. Just placed an order this evening with him. I coooouuuld be biased because he lives in KS too, and I like to keep it as local as possible lol.

I ordered some Jalapeno, orange hab, bahamian goat, aleppo, and he has some seed collection packages too two of which I also picked up.

Seed packs are 20 seeds each. I still have some Scotch Bonnets and Cayenne long slims that have fruit on them. Starting to get some cool nights over here now. First frost is not too far off.  Im already planning my layout for next spring. Cant help myself.
