How to send fresh Bhoots stateside?

I need to send some Bhoots to my brother in Texas. Shall be sending them with a friend who's travelling to the east coast. Don't want to send them whole and fresh, to save on the customs form filling hassle. 
 
What would be the best way to send them? Paste or dehydrated & powdered? It would be at least 2 weeks before my brother gets them and wouldn't be refrigerated through its journey.  
 
Dehydrated and make powder. Sending with a friend means in luggage means dried pods will likely be crushed or broken, and you can send more if powder. However try to get some dried pods there safe too, maybe in one mason jar with a bubble wrap inner lining, as they should be protected in there. So powder + dried pods is my answer. :)

Problem is I need to send them in a few days. So, would need to dehydrate them in the oven.
