Sadowski Glog - 6 sstrains of peppers

Hello Guys!

So I''m new in growing peppers, aaand I doint HP Aeroponics growroom in my basement for vegs and fruits.

I have a plan to grow 6 peppers ( 2 plants per 1 strain) , Cucumbers, tomatoes, greens and strawberries.

I will use only Full-spectrum Leds.
And for now GHE Flora Series, but I thing to buy dry nutrients in 3kg pack from YARA.

Peppers:
Aji White fantasy
Aji Lemon Drop
Jalapeno Conchos
Trinidad Kongo
JAFSH
CP358 Apocalypse

Cucumbers: Telegraph Improved
Tomatoes: Noir de Crimee , Indigo Rose ( still not sprout after a 1,5 week)

Here are some pics :D

Here, painted for matt white room in my basement, later I will make root boxes etc. :P

And Here my RO unit merged with kitchen filters ( RO 75GPH)

Some Peppers, Cucumbers and Tomatoes seedlings :P
And peppers after selection.

Small seedlings grow box:

And today i got 50W COBs Full spectrum from china :P

And here are in action:P

Some Timelapses when I used CFL 32 2160lm :P

I will constantly update this thread :)

:welcome:

THP is a great community, I think you'll love it here! (I know I do)

That's a good list you have, a bit of everything. hHow many plants of each variety do you plan on growing?

Love the time-lapses!

Look forward to following along, best of luck with your season!

Hi,

2 plants per variey. :)

For now I mostly waiting for parts ordered on Alieexpress like:
0,3mm Nozzles ( 20x,  need to order 50 more, to have also nozzles for replacing those that cloggged)
Relay timers ( got 3 for different zones, but I will order 10 more as they are cheap)
Solenoind ( need to order totally about 12)

Now got 3x 50W COBs, but china cheap cobs are not so efficient..  and waiting for 1x50W and 4x30W more. ( better that nothing :D )
But I think to order 500x 3W Bridgelux 45mil star PCB Fulll-spectrum  to make my own grow lights - 100W panel cost about 85$ to make :)
And from what I know we need 200W of LED light per square meter.

About pump, now I have 17$ 130PSI  ebay membrane pump,  I think to order 3 more for different sections  or to be a replacement if some pump go to hell. (what will be less likelly because I will use pressure tanks).

But my most concers are nutrients,   even GHE Flora series are not cheap in calculation and have not so good NPK ratio.
I think about to use something from Peters Proffesional but they only sell 15kg packs >.>
What about YARA nutrients?
Here I have them available in 3kg boxes :D

All have the same micro concentration but different NPK ratio.
What NPK for what part of life of plants ?
YARA Kristalon:
0,07% (Fe) EDTA/DTPA;
0,04% ( Mn) EDTA;
0,025% (Zn) EDTA;
0,01% (Cu) EDTA;
0,025% (B);
0,004% (Mo)

Orange: 6-12-36+3Mg
Yellow: 13-40-13
Blue: 19-6-20
White: 15-5-30
Red: 12-12-36

Hmm, I need to use something else for timelapses, because I will ruin shutter of DSLR in no time xD .

Best Regards,
Konrad

For timelapse you can use iSpy and a cheap webcam.

Can't help on the nutrients, but if you talking "kg"bags is that general fertiliser or water soluble stuff for hydroponics?

Nice room for growing and good luck

YARA Kristalon are nutrients used for fertigation in big farms.

They are high quality and 3kg of this, cost the same as 0,5l bottle of GHE Flora series.

From NPK I see that Orange is llike Masterblend Tomato.

Is that even going to work in your HP system?

I would have thought it would block up straight away due to insolubles.

ok, I got mixing formulas for YARA Kristalon nutrients from Serbian forum :)

It will be ok ?

YARA Kristalon:
0,07% (Fe) EDTA/DTPA;
0,04% ( Mn) EDTA;
0,025% (Zn) EDTA;
0,01% (Cu) EDTA;
0,025% (B);
0,004% (Mo)

Orange: 6-12-36+3Mg
Yellow: 13-40-13
Blue: 19-6-20

Red: 12-12-36

And some timelapse :P

Now I got contact to China seller who have in offer a Air Atomization nozzles.
This is mechanical ultrasound, and by regulating air pressure we can achieve a 3-10um  or 10-50um droplets.

For 10 nozzles they offered me 55$ per one nozzle. Normal price is 88$ per nozzle xD

The same quality as USA or Germany made. Just without paying for brand/aeroponic hype.

From HP Aero I will go to Dry-Fog Aero what is the newest method of growing.
And this is a lot more failproof  that Ultrasound atomizers and HP pumps.

And then I need  ONE, just ONE nozzle for a root chamber as large like on drawings.
Instead of 20 in HP system.

Hi guys and madams,
As Dry Fog nozzles are totally expensive (Microfog nozzle -250$) I researched some stuff on internet and started designing CAD model for future CAM program for 5axis mill...
So I will be able to make 20 nozzles for the price of materials
1f603.png
:D ( heheh nice to work in factory with tons of CNC machines)
Pros of Dry Fog nozzle for FogPonics:
- No heating up root zone ( with this we cool it down!)
- No Clog
- Atomization on 4-10um level
- can use it for everything
We need just 1-3bar of nutrient pressure and 4-7bar of air pressure. But we need to put in way a 30-40um fillters.
What do you think ?
Resonation chamber up there, creating a shock wave that atomize droplets into dry fog

That, my friend, is AWESOME!

Great work doing the design yourself, hope it works out!

In next week I will try to make test nozzle ( or rather I give design to friend on other part of company who wwill have time, and he also knows how to use CNC lathe, ( I'm only on milling machines) )

OK, the problem is that everyone that I know are CNC Mills operators.
This part is mostly for Turning, but I wwill think how to modify design to be easy made even on Drill press.

And yesterday found in store this little poor pepper, that is now in ICU with 100W of Led Grow COB Full spectrum and GHE Flora nutrients.
Later will be transferred to Kranky setup before I finish my sweet Fogponics.
