Cold greetings from Estonia!

Greetings!

I'm a 23 year old student of plant physiology in the university town of Tartu, Estonia. I've had a love for spicy foods since i was about 10 and I started cooking a lot at around the age of 15. Little by little I began to incorporate chilies into my foods although I stuck to the regular red chilli, because we have a very poor selection of fresh peppers. I decided to join this forum in search of hot sauce ideas and some pictures of other people's pepper plants.

My favourite pepper is the Orange Habanero, which I've grown as well on my windowsill. We hardly get California-level temperatures so growth comes hard and slow, but its ever so gratifying to taste the first pepper of your plant and discover its glorious heat. These days my favourite thing to cook super spicy is a red lentil curry. My friends and family love it and its always a big hit.

It sounds silly, but my interest for chilies and capsaicin is what drew me to take the path I am now on, which is the molecular study of plants. Perhaps I can use my knowledge to grow some new ultra-spicy cultivars. One of my goals is to move someplace warm so I could grow chilies all year round. We'll see ;)

Great to be here! I attached a few pictures of my plants and some chilli flakes I did over the summer.

P.S. Any Half-Life fans?
