2017 Indoor Winter Hydroponics Pepper Edition

Hello!

I'm going to use this to document my Peppers. Right now, I'm going to start with the Banana Peppers... more will come with the hot peppers as they are just seedlings.

Plants are fed in Soil and Soiless settings. They are fed Masterblend 4-18-38 with Calcium Nitrate and Mag Sulfate as needed for Soil and Soiless hangs above a pool of nutrients. Hydrogaurd for Soiless settings once per week. Extreme gardening brand mykoz to help root growth innocolent when seeds sprout.

Foliage feeding with Foilage Pro 9-3-6 every three days for a good rain soak.

I had a group of B Peps growing with a mystery plant that also grew from the same set of seeds.... not a reputable Amazon seller. Many have died and only two plants live to this day. Started 10/15 from seeds.

11/24/17- plucked first buds.

Update! Pepper seedlings are doing iffy. I think the light is too far away but was moved due to it burning some of the leaves. The bell peppers in the mason are now flowering all over. The tent dwc bell is huge! The plant itself has a massive trunk. Maybe the size of a quarter. It has about 6 pods growing.

Sooo... not sure who is tracking this. At one point, I put all of my hots together due to back germination. These three were transplanted last night. Exciting to see the outcome.

Banana peppers have 8 more fruits growing!

Bells have tons of flowers.

Life is good!

Quick update 5/27/18

My bells in the Kratky Mason Jars are not growing into BIG peppers.. See below.

So mini red bells!!

The grilled bell is from the hydroponic DWC. They are about fist sized and taste better than the market..

I transplanted the red Cayanne, tepinxlemon, and Peter peppers. They are doing well!

And as you can see, I started some new seeds from the recent seed train!

Tepin x lemon, taste tested and hot!

The raised bed peppers are about double in height and I'm not sure what kind of pest this is if this is a pest at all?

Tepin
Red mini bell from dwc
Green bell from dwc
Store bought bell

Only used my home grown and sateud with tomatoes/ teriyaki sauce.

It was great.. Will my peppers ever gain in size to the store? Mine were very deep in color which is cool.

Indoor hydroponics are going well!

The Aji is looking healthy and taking a spread out in image 1. Roots followed by plant!

Hydrogaurd does wonders to keep roots white.

The tepin plants seem to have a variety of flower colors between white and purple on the same plant.

Loving the growth.
