hello from Isla Margarita (Venezuela)

hello all,
i am a first time grower and so i will be looking around all the self help posts i can find.  i am a transplanted Canadian living on Margarita Island just off the coast of Venezuela.   i make and sell my own BBQ sauce to the local expat community (keeps me in beer money for now).  most have asked me to make them hot sauces and find them peppers.    well i tried and cant find any so i brought back a ton of seeds and thought i would try it my self.  going to start with some Jalapenos and Habaneros once i start i will be doing a Glow log and looking at all the comments so i can figure out what i am doing...lol

all the videos ect i have studied will probably not the same as hands on.   down here there is not a lot we can get so i hope somewhere out there is someone who is growing is a climate close to this one here on the Island.  we are right on the coast (250 ft about sea level) so we get a lot of salt

p.s. i had joined a while ago but had to return to Canada to help out my Folks so now i am back and in this with both feet

There is a very rare and neat pepper from Isla Margarita known as Aji Margariteno or Aji dulce Margariteno.
