The Yellow Brain Strain is a really good one if you like yellow chinenses.

Nigel has a good review of it here: https://www.youtube....h?v=jaOpwkJqO_E

Scotch Bonnets for hot.
Fatalii for hot-to-super.
7 Pot for superhots.

There's so many do you really want people to list thousands of peppers here?

This is a ridiculous question, please narrow it.

What do you consider floral? Looking for sweet hot would say Bahamian Goat, Freeport Scotch Bonnets. They have a fruity tasty not floral. IMO.

From what I interpret it's a question coming from a "what's really hot but not overly chinense tasting pepper" type angle.  Asked in a fashion of a seeker who knows what they don't want in a really hot pepper but isn't sure of which hot peppers will side step the floral taste.

I didn't respond previously because pretty much all of the supers I've eaten have had that floral chinense flavor.  I don't know of one in that super hot cannon that I have eaten that is not pretty much as floral as can be in peppers.  For me most of them carry that habanero type floral taste to me initially, and then you taste only a bit more before the heat really starts to come on.

It felt like satan pissed in my mouth it was so hot and lasted a long time. It was a horrible experience eating one of them. - SavinaRed

That is sort of how I read it as well. Basically, "what superhots have a good flavor with no floral taste". But I didn't interpret "floral" as meaning the distinctive chinense flavor, but rather that cloying, flowery taste that is like having women's perfume sprayed in your mouth. Not only certain chinenses, but some baccatums and even a few annuums I have tried had that quality to some degree.

Yeah, they all have that damn floral taste. Only way around it is to smoke and powder them. Makes em good!

Have heard a ton of good about that 7pot Burgundy. Might have to grow it!

Like stated above, Fatalii, Bahamian Goat and Yellow Scotch Bonnets are light on the floral.

Crazy though, I've never thought baccatums taste like soap so maybe I'm just out there. :high:

Y'know, I too have found that Baccatums have a soapy flavor, but it seems to be in the placenta for me. The outer flesh doesn't.

See everyone is different. I know a bunch of people who like the floral and even seek it out. Crazy mofos.

I just like mid heat good tasters!
