chinense Red Savina Habanero

What is up with the different variations of this pepper? I have seen different vendors with the Savina and a few different appearances, most commonly these two below. The first variation I have grown once and absolutely loved, the second in my opinion reminds me of a Tobago habanero with the darker red waxy appearance with deeper ridges. Is this the result of the pepper being altered by different growers or conditions? The first and only one I ever grew was like the first photo and nearly every pepper on it was identical. Is this a possible mix up of Savina and Carribean Red?

I think that Red Savs were originally an f1 cross kinda thing?  So, maybe if you´re getting f1 seeds, you get the ¨real deal,¨ but if you´re getting seeds that were saved from Savina pods.  I´d google it if i really wanted to know, but i guess i´m more into well-established, stable crosses and landrace/old-timey varieties.
