Kingbo 50W LED grow light

Nice review. I just ordered one on amazon. It's been so windy here lately that I've had to bring most my stuff into the garage under CFLs so I'll give this a shot and see how it works. For the price, it's worth a shot.

Peter, What spacing are you starting out at between the light and the plants?
I lowered it a little after shooting the video. Right now it's at around12 inches above the canopies. So far they seem to be doing fine.

I finally got this light delivered yesterday. I'm going to ATTEMPT to grow a single small ornamental type pepper with it but if that doesn't work out I'll probably end up using it for herbs.

I have my desmodium gyrans plants under it full time and also a few pepper seedlings just to see how they do. All of them seem to be doing really well. The peppers are having really nice compact growth at about 24 inches from the light.

Nice! They look great.

I also have one of these I'm currently running on one of my ABE annuum. I'm curious to hear how those of you with them have done with peppers under these. My hope is to be able to raise small Capsicum plants under them, to fruit, in the small space I have to grow in. Someone else growing under these in a tent has said they have a good 2'x2' growing area, they didn't say anything about flower/fruit set. For those of you with experience with these, please answer the following, if you can.. As well as offering any other insights related to your experiences with this light. Thank you for your time

-Were you able to achieve flowering/fruit set?
-What have you found to be a good height for these in canopy relation?
