[Dec 18] What are you working on this week?

Just got back from the store. Picked up a nice 9lb standing rib roast. Not USDA prime but super close to it. I couldn't see paying the $7/lb difference after seeing the one i bought. I would have if only given the choice of that or buying one of the other Choice rib roasts.
 
Still need french bread, 4 russets and the jumbo portobello caps....Oh oh oh and some sour cream and some chives.
 
Finishing up painting the kitchen and changing out a perfectly good backsplash. The wife thought it would be easy and a great idea to replace the( perfectly good) tiled backsplash. I didn’t put up the old backsplash to come down easy. I really HATE that effing Pinterest.
Yeah I had to cut out and replace the drywall from the removal of the old tiles.

You know it. The kitchen isn’t the only Pinterest idea my wife has had me do. Funny thing is she thinks that every idea she likes will fit our house. I really hate Pinterest!!!!!

Working hard at hardly working but failing horribly.
It sucks when every department has a Hi-Priority Must Do Before end of year project and I'm the only one who can complete them. :mope:
 
Hmmmm..... gotta add "Bitchin' about life" to what I'm doing this week.
 
the one caveat: I love my paycheck this time of year :party:
