D3's 2018. This will be a good year.

2018 already, time sure does fly by  :shocked:
 
Been a member on this forum a few years now (2013?). This has to be a record for me. I usually change hobbies by now. Maybe it's because we get a few months down time to relax and take a break from caring for plants.

I'm getting things ready for this years grow. Looking at adding a new grow light for seedlings. I had some nice LED ones but they are starting to go out and my t5 fixture stopped working. Probably the ballast but who knows. 
 
I'm looking at ordering this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019J3UPUS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A18TGAB2SJ5GBJ&psc=1 I just need to make sure it will fit on my bakers shelf right. Should be plenty bright enough for plant starts. 
 
I haven't come up with a list of plants for this year yet. I know it's going to be mostly my crosses with maybe a few I plan on crossing and some for hotsauce.

Thanks, i'm still going to be starting a lot more. Annums and Baccatum come later. I might start more as spring gets closer as well so I can utilize the greenhouse.

I start off good but eventually it all goes out the window. I'm going to have to figure out a way of organizing all the plugs once I start shipping of there's even a demand.

New light came yesterday. Even bigger than I pictured. Not sure if it will fit under my bakers rack shelves

It's too big to fit on a 4' wide bakers rack. Had to put on top shelf. Going to try and clean up the growroom today. I'll snap a few pics. Thinking about firing up the hydro again.
 
Great list for this year D3! Also good thunkin' with the plugs for sale - you'll get some good business with them for sure!
 
Should be interesting to see how the next generation of the crosses comes out too!

Kicked on the t8s to put the seedlings under them because they are closer to the tops and one the sockets started smoking.

thank god I was home and present when it happened. Now this leaves me kind of scared to have my lights on in the basement unattended. I'm certainly going to discontinue use of the other identical fixture.
