D3's 2018. This will be a good year.

2018 already, time sure does fly by

Been a member on this forum a few years now (2013?). This has to be a record for me. I usually change hobbies by now. Maybe it's because we get a few months down time to relax and take a break from caring for plants.

Here's the growlogs of the past

I'm getting things ready for this years grow. Looking at adding a new grow light for seedlings. I had some nice LED ones but they are starting to go out and my t5 fixture stopped working. Probably the ballast but who knows.

I'm looking at ordering this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019J3UPUS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A18TGAB2SJ5GBJ&psc=1 I just need to make sure it will fit on my bakers shelf right. Should be plenty bright enough for plant starts.

I haven't come up with a list of plants for this year yet. I know it's going to be mostly my crosses with maybe a few I plan on crossing and some for hotsauce.

Finally warm enough to get plants out to greenhouse

hopefully something good. wasn't super impressed with f1 though they did pack a punch.

In what way were you unimpressed? Flavorwise, looks? Luckily the F2 can bring out a bunch of different traits. And with that amount of flowers, it won't be long till you find out!

Debating on planting out today. Only issue is my plants havent had any direct sunlight. Green house has shade cloth over it. Should I harden off first you think?

The sun is pretty intense up this way, plants would burn up for sure if this was their first contact for a prolonged period of time. Shade cloth should help, just dont take your eyes off em for more than 30 minutes.

Raised beds look like they are ready to go ... nice set up with the greenhouse. Will you keep some varieties in the greenhouse or are they all destined for outside. Glad the NeBru7 has worked well for you it will need a large container as it's a big plant

Everything will probably end up outside. Greenhouse gets too hot in the summer. Right now it's pretty decent out and it's been averaging 43.33 c in the greenhouse already.

Good to know on the NeBru7 maybe i'll put it in a 15 gal pot.

I dug the holes deeper, down to clay and backfilled with a lighter mix and some tomato tone.

Still got a lot left to plant out. Hopefully storms tonight aren't too severe.
