So what's the best tasting tomato in your opinion (or anyone else)? I've heard some people say celebrity is awesome, never grown them though. The soon to be wifey loves tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, shes already asking me when I'm going to start her tomatoes, haha.

We grew the Celebrity for years, it grew well here and the taste was great. But here they were prone to cat facing, large cracks on the top. The Early Girl is our number one choice after 35 years of growing tomatoes here in the deep South. I start Tom's January 15th and they hit the dirt March 1st if the 10 day forecast says so

Pink brandywine....flavor and size are to die for..one slice covers a whole piece of normal sandwich bread or large burger bun.

Very meaty and juicy tomato.

I'll have to try that as a second crop started in July to take advantage of the cooler growing in the fall.

Early season ones for in Mancos were siberian types. They kill it in cold short season climates. Always had ber with roma and san marzano.

My soil has a crazy high Ph, and plenty of calcium, but it's unavailable for the plants. Due to that lockout, I use calmag. 1 tsp per gallon of water, applied with a watering can (foliar application) twice a week, makes a world of difference for me here in the deep south. I still won't grow the Roma's or San Marzano's, just not worth it in my garden.

You have to find what works where you live.

I feed my cannabis very high doses of cal mag. Using blue planet nutrients this run and they are amazing. I'll brew tea and add cal mag for my peppers and tomatoes.

I have to read up on Blue Planet

Zapotec Jalapeno's. I have 8 of these, 2 Farmers Market's, and 2 Orange. Jalapeno peppers are the number one that gets used here. LB wants to powder a bunch for cooking and peanut brittle.

Forking and flowering already. I pinched the flower, and it hurt...LOL

I wanted to grow that pumpkin bbg, that and a Tabasco bbg cross were two I didn't aquire this year. Your plants are looking super healthy, especially those pdn x bondas.

Our Amish Paste tomatoes have some very healthy complexions, little to no cracking, though they'll split like any tomato if they get too much water.

Scott, please send me that peanut brittle recipe, or kindly direct me to it. I've heard a lot of things, but never peanut brittle and jalapeno together in one sentence....

And jeez guy, slow down a little bit! I have two weeks before I even drop a seed! Didn't that weather I sent you last month teach you anything?

Those are #1 pots, like 3 quarts? I've had them for several years, bought them @ http://www.greenhousemegastore.com/

I've purchased pots elsewhere and theirs are a good quality compared to some others sold on the net.
