[Jan 15] What are you working on this week?

Recovering from the flu and germinating may pubes.

Glad to finally be doing both!

I just did some major pruning on my fruit trees yesterday and then counted how many pepper plants survived this winter outdoors and to my amazement it was 27  :)

And most of the plants are still loaded with peppers and my rocotto  has 50 plus that I'm waiting to see ripen up so hopefully they are good considering they missed the late fall window and overwintered outside.

Today is my only day off (even though I worked until 6am so I slept half the day away) I need to be up early for day shift tomorrow. Trying to find time and motivation to clean the growroom and get it ready for seedlings. I got my first hooks of the season this morning.

Still decompressing after a damn nuclear missile scare. I thought I had my shit together but when I saw the message that said 12 minutes to impact my brain pretty much shut down.
Thank God it was a false alarm because using 20/20 hindsight, the high profile targets were a couple hundred miles away and prevailing tradewinds usually blow in the other direction so I had time to gather family, food, and firearms before most people wold have finally realized we weren't dead yet.
I pray there won't be a next time but if there is a 2 week plan is in place. Working on a longer one now.

Sorry to hear of that.

Fellow American.

But the fact is.

2 weeks, 2 months, even 2 years...

Ain't gonna' be enough.

Nuke and take out Oahu and nothing comes in.

No food, no fuel, no electricity, no nothing.

Let this be a wake up call.

Hope you have a garden.

And a way to protect it.

Aloha and mahalo.

Roger that TB. Can't expect any relief from current administration, Puerto Rico response proves that.
Hilo harbor is already set for receiving the large container ships and prevailing winds blow the other way so if only Oahu is a target we on the Big Island will survive. If the harbors get damaged we are screwed.
We deal with power outages on a regular basis so I just need to expand resources for longer term.
Got solar panels & batteries.
Got propane for cooking
Got access to water supply thanks to Water Dept. building a massive holding tank right behind my house a few years back.
Need more 2-stroke gas for chainsaw
Need to start raising chickens and rabbits again
Need more bullets
Need to stop freaking out and put things into perspective

I reckon you will be fine.

You know what to do.

Take care of yourself and family first.

Then again...

If I was eating a righteous Hawaiin plate lunch.

Like katsu chicken and double mac salad...

Screw you nuclear weapon.

I'm not done eating.

And fuck you death!

I ain't done living!

Hunting female fugitive wanted by two Texas counties for grand theft. Very slippery one. Went into seedy motel room today that had small roaches crawling on/in the bed, lathered up with alcohol gel afterwards. Was glad to get home and take a hot shower.... Some days are fun, some days suck.... Back at it again tomorrow...

Aside from that and to keep with the crux of what I should in fact be talking about here, waiting for small indoor grow system to arrive... Never tried it but will soon. The link if it appears correctly  http://www.greenhousemegastore.com/product/indoor-seed-starter-plus-with-jump-start-grow-light-system/s
